Wine gets better with time and same is the case with the Mollywood superstar Mammootty as he has stunned the audience with his latest performance from the Lijo Jose Pellissery’s film ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’. Mammootty’s performance is said to be the main highlight of the movie and in an interview with the media the actor opened up about his preparations for the portrayal of the two entirely distinct characters James and Sundaram.

During the conversation with media Mammootty said that even though he had lived in Chennai for many years, his dialect and the character Sundaram’s dialect are entirely different and as a result his Tamil needed corrections.

Mammootty further said that he had to put a great effort to learn the dialect of Sundaram. The actor reportedly said, “Even though the film was shot with the help of sync-sound technology, I had to dub again for certain portions.”

Mammootty also said that it was a fun experience while shooting for ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ and it never felt like work.

Meanwhile, Mammootty - Lijo Jose Pellissery’s ‘Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam’ hit the big screens on January 19 this year and the movie had an opening collection of Rs 93 lakhs at the Kerala box office. The film also features the actors Ashokan and Ramya Pandian in significant roles.

On the other hand, Lijo Jose Pellissery is teaming up with Mohanlal for the upcoming movie ‘Malaikkottai Valiban’ and the film started rolling in Rajasthan recently. The expectations among the audience aree really high for the movie.
