‘D 148’: Dileep to team up with ‘Udal’ director for his next

Mollywood superstar Dileep is all set to team up with the ‘Udal’ director Ratheesh Reghunandan for his upcoming 148th film and the movie will be launched on 27th January this year in Cochin.

It is expected that the title of Dileep’s 148th film will be officially announced by the makers soon. The film will start rolling in Kottayam on January 28, 2023. Popular actress Nitha Pillai will be reportedly playing the female lead character in the untitled project.

Newbie director Ratheesh Reghunandan got much appreciation for his debut thriller film ‘Udal’. The movie hit the big screens on 20 May 2022 and had the actors Indrans, Durga Krishna, and Dhyan Sreenivasan in significant lead roles. Netizens even termed the movie as Mollywood’s version of the Hollywood thriller ‘’Don’t Breathe’.

Meanwhile, superstar Dileep has several highly anticipated projects in the pipeline for the year 2023. Some of his most anticipated upcoming movies include ‘Bandra’, ‘Voice of Sathyanathan’, and ‘Parakkum Pappan’.

On the other hand, Dileep’s previous outing was with the comedy-drama movie ‘Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan’ which unfortunately turned out to be one of the biggest disappointments of the year 2021. Even with a talented cast and crew, ‘Keshu Ee Veedinte Nadhan’ failed to get positive responses from the movie buffs.
